“I was lucky enough to wear one of the very first El Primero watches for my expedition through the Darien Gap in Central America. For over 40 years, it came along with me on missions around the globe, from tropical forests to frozen expanses and from humid jungles to barren desserts; in flight, on land or on water, it never let me down, and sometimes took over when my usual instruments weren’t working properly. Today, my loyal travelling companion has returned to the Zenith museum and I wear a new El Primero chronograph model which accompanies me in my new adventures.”
