On the back of the watch, a sapphire crystal offers a spectacular vision of the mechanical hand-wound 5011K movement. The latter derives its pedigree from the 5011 pocket calibre that earned Zenith such success in the 1960s. Beating a rate of 18,000 vibrations per hour, equipped with shock-absorbers on the balance-staff and the escapement arbor, along with a fine adjustment system and a Breguet overcoil balance-spring, it is endowed with all the attributes required for optimal performance, while maintaining a resolutely vintage spirit.
